Family counseling counseling is available, for groups of up to 4. Family sessions are available by request with two weeks notice and can be scheduled for an ongoing basis if indicated. Staff members of The Sanctuary are comfortable working with diverse people in all stages of togetherness, from developing a relationship to looking for support in ending one.
In some circumstances, support is needed for those assisting identified clients through their mental health obstacles. Our staff is versed in supporting individuals and families cope with the symptoms of varying degrees of their loved one's mental health and illness. With years of experience combined with recent education, we truly welcome all and maintain confidentiality.

The Sanctuary understands the impact of adventures and experiences outside of self free of anxiety provoking surroundings. We offer trauma informed environments centrally located in the Portland Metro Area. Our staff will exceed expectations around peacefulness, giving a very hands off approach to hosting you. However, we are here for any needs or problems that arise as well. We simply aim to give reprieve.
In the vein of recovering from burnout and experiencing the world, The Sanctuary offers a full weekend experience in Portland, OR. With a and early check in and late check out, we boast more than just two nights but almost 3 full days in this beautiful city.
An inexpensive add on or stand alone service, Sunset retreat involves going out to the shore of the Pacific Ocean in a guided tour. In groups we search for sunset, though full disclosure: a beautiful, lingering sunset does not always occur! This is a seasonal and fantastic way to experience relief from the demands of the daily grind regardless.
